Food had changed people’s life, lately; many people eat fast food to save their times, or to eat fast. Foods have changed the culture, especially in America. But the fast food caused a lot of problem to us. It gives us unnecessary supplies, we will be unhealthy, or fat…etc because of these fast food.Lots of people still eat their food at home, but I am sure 50% of people eat fast food, and like them, but these foods save the time, especially you are busy, you can’ t cook for 1hour to prepare to eat, to save your time, you have to eat fast food. For example, to save their time, they buy food in the superstore; you heat it up for 5 minutes, and eat, which is very simple.It is good thing to save their time, but these are really bad for our health, if we keep eating this, we will be very fat, even though you exercise a lot, it does not give you, the stuff that you need in your body. You can see a lot of fat people in the USA because they eat a lot of hamburgers, hotdogs, or pizza. You will be fat, and might get any disease, disease like you have problem with your stomach, or something else, which is hard to fix because once if you eat lots of fast food, it is very hard not to eat.To solve this problem, first of all, we should eat our food at home, many young people say fast food is better, but once you live out of your place for more than a year, you feel like to have the food that parents made. Second, if you want to have fast food, you should have them once in a week, or a month, not every day, or more than 3 times in a week because that influences the process of body.You can eat the fast food, but you got to be able to control yourself, or eat the food that is homemade because people have lot of trouble, even though there are good things, unless you have to eat fast food, you shouldn’t eat them, even though those food are easier to eat, and quicker to eat, if you want to keep your body healthy.

There was a special time; earth hour on Saturday, march 29th. You should have turned off the lights for an hour 8:30-9:30, did you? I didn’t because I didn’t know it was a day for saving electricity. Have you known that if the whole world turn off not even whole world, but most of the world turn off the light, the government can save millions of dollars, which is awesome because you can save money that you don’t have to spend on, or specifically don’t have to waste your money. This is a great day to me because sometimes I don’t act that way, but I like to keep the environment safe because I, or environmentalists don’t want to get any trouble in the future, well, you can’t make it back the electricity after you use them, but still, if you can save million of, million of money, I think we should do this once in a month, so everyone will think that to keep electricity forever is no good. In my opinion, even though it is very small activity, this is a great work because even it is for an hour, you save tons of money, and because we do this, even little children will feel that we should save electricity, and should not waste. This article is showing that Cleopatra, the queen of Egypt, but came to Greek to marry. So they thought that Cleopatra was a woman because she was in Greece. Many people said that she was incredibly beautiful, but she wasn’t actually beautiful that much. I thought that she was an Egyptian, I learned like this in my memory. I do not believe that she was Greek, just opposition of what people think of, I thought she was Egyptian because, first of all, I learned that she was the queen of Egypt, which makes perfect sense that she was Egyptian, and in my memory, she has sister, who was born in Egypt, which, makes better sense. To be in the company that you want, or to learn more information, many people go to college or university. But I think that most people go to university for their future job, they don’t want to work in laundry room, and they want to work something fascinating, what they have wanted for a long time.
Almost every student goes to university because of his or her career preparation. Many people want to work on what they want, but they can’t just work, they have to prove that that has ability to work. That is why people go to college or university. If they work hard in university, they can do better in the company that you work in, and you will enjoy your life, work.People learn more information about what they want to learn, that is why people can choose the subject that they want in university or college, but some people could come to the university because of new experience, just to experience what is the university like, or way that university students work is almost same as the normal workers, so before they work, just experience new thing.
I think that the career preparation is good reason to go to university because if you can’t go to that university, the company will not accept you to work in the company, and many people don’t think about the increased knowledge, they think about the future, I think that this is kind of bad traditional thing because if people only want to get some money, there is no point of studying. Also, even though you go to normal college or university, that doesn’t mean that, you are stupid, or something because your family is not wealthy enough to go to university, even though you have ability to go to good universities. However, company does not care whether you are poor, but smart because they are just going to see the result, not way that I work, which can be not fair.
As I study in the university or college, I want to have good experience, or memorable, and something special remembrance to keep because it should be very different from the high school, you will feel different, you will meet different friends…etc. It will be very fun and interesting to have new experiences, and it might help me in the future, so I want to go university or college.

This article is about lobsters and the crabs feel the pain, just like other animals do. Scientist had experiment about this, they took out their legs, see what they do, so scientist figured out that they just feel like the other animals, Robert Elwood, the lead author of both papers, explained to Discovery News that pain allows an individual to be "aware of the potential tissue damage" while experiencing "a huge negative emotion or motivation that it learns to avoid that situation in the future." and the university professor said, all the crabs were released after this experiment, and they were survived.
Another interesting article was that dog is the most similar animal not chimpanzees, chimps live very similar, and share many of our genes, but dog have lived with human for a very long time that they live very similar to the humans, cooperation, verbal conversation, or non-verbal conversations. I think this shows that other animals do learn if they live with something or somebody very closely because just like the article, and in my experience, my friend's dog was just like this, I was very surprised, if he said "come", dog will come to him, which was amazing fact because I though dog will never be able to be like humans, monkeys (I was young this time.)

This article is basically about global warming, and how people, especially scientists are trying to change, and stop this problem. This articles says that scientists have figured out that a new way to transform the coal, so you can even use it for the car, and your car is using far less energy, which is saving energy, and one way to try to fix the global warming, but this is a bad news why? because it produce twice as more carbon dioxide (CO2) traditional petroleum fuels and at best will still emit at least as much of the greenhouse gas. It is a very big bad news because they have made worse gas to use, and that is going to cause more, even faster global warming. So they are going to have debate with the government very soon.
It is very good that scientists invented new thing, simpler thing, but if we can't use them, they should not tell people to use them because they know better than anyone of global warming, they should try to solve this problem without using so much gas, or not producing CO2 because CO2, and any gases make the earth even worse, but most times, those gases are very cheap that any people can use easily. So it is very hard to stop.
If I was scientist, I would really try to solve global warming because one day, we are going to have to live under the water, I would not want to live under the water, so if I was a real scientist. Title: What are the important qualities of good teacher? USe specific reasons and the examples to explain why these qualities are good.
I have three reasons for what are the imporant qualities of a good teacher. Those are to love students as my family, to not use any violence, and to thinkg that students are the first because if teachers want to be the best one, but you don't like students, there is no way that someone can be a good teacher.I think to love students is very important because if teacher likes all the students as the equality, students will like teacher, mostly the students will show their teacher their hard work. For exammple, I've had a best teacher in grade five. He was very gentle, except beginning, he just wanted everyone to listen to him, he was very close to the students, he liked to do the stuffs that student like as necessary stuffs, he would have double gym class, if he missed for other subject studying, which was good because everyone like the gym class so much, as he acted that way, we acted him back, we studied, he knew we are studying because my class average was 10% higher than the other class average. So if you like the students and act, you will be one of best teachers for the students.Second reason was to not use violence, it is very simple to say. Who likes teachers who are violent, or would you like to have violent teachers. Simply we don't. WHAT IS THE EFFECT OF READING?
Many students can feel that we don't care with book, and they are saying that book does not help anything, but I disagree with them, I know better I think because English is my second language, therefore I have been reading English book every single day since I came over Canada, so I am going to show you that how books work by reading.First, I can say of course English skill is getting a lot, way better thatn what I had, you can feel difference among reading everyday, and not reading. I camse here last year Feburary, 2007.2, I could not speak anything except a few words hi, how are you, and I was scared if foregin, Canadian asked me something from out side, so I had to go step by step, I read write a journal for little part, I practiced cursive, and school work, and also I had to memolize a lot of the words. And now, I can speak English as my first language Korean. I also did not recognize skill was from book as grammar stuff, so I asked my homeroom teacher that what has happened, and she was laughing, ans then explained everything to me, first time no people enjoyed the book included me except people who liked to read even they did not know how to read, what is the book as my brother did.What I want to explain you in this paragraph is that first time you feel board and does not learn anything, but if you take the time, you can read, and it will help you a lot, grammar, vocabulary, and writing skills.Reading, it is very board first time ,but time by time you can enjoy also feel learning something. You can learn a lot of grammar, vocab, and writing skills as I already said. What happends if you do not know how to speak, then you will feel you want to go home if you are foreginer of Canada, and you can't speak, and if someone ask you, you will be very embarassed, that is why speaking and book are both important as I wrote already first and this paragraphs.I think these are simple reasons that might help you, even you are native speaker, which not a foreigner you might, and can feel this, if you are still reading ^^, anyway as a result, by these reasons you can see the information that how books, and reading help you.
Many students can feel that we don't care with book, and they are saying that book does not help anything, but I disagree with them, I know better I think because English is my second language, therefore I have been reading English book every single day since I came over Canada, so I am going to show you that how books work by reading.First, I can say of course English skill is getting a lot, way better thatn what I had, you can feel difference among reading everyday, and not reading. I camse here last year Feburary, 2007.2, I could not speak anything except a few words hi, how are you, and I was scared if foregin, Canadian asked me something from out side, so I had to go step by step, I read write a journal for little part, I practiced cursive, and school work, and also I had to memolize a lot of the words. And now, I can speak English as my first language Korean. I also did not recognize skill was from book as grammar stuff, so I asked my homeroom teacher that what has happened, and she was laughing, ans then explained everything to me, first time no people enjoyed the book included me except people who liked to read even they did not know how to read, what is the book as my brother did.What I want to explain you in this paragraph is that first time you feel board and does not learn anything, but if you take the time, you can read, and it will help you a lot, grammar, vocabulary, and writing skills.Reading, it is very board first time ,but time by time you can enjoy also feel learning something. You can learn a lot of grammar, vocab, and writing skills as I already said. You also can feel that your speaking is getting better, when I started to talk a lot, I felt that is the book's effectional thing because there are conversation, so if we learn that, we could use in out of the world of the book. So In my opinion, it is very useful. For a little while, there was a big baseball game, WBC (World Baseball Classic), and this article is about the victory for team Japan kept their championship over Korea, which was a cheap win. The reason why I am saying they had cheap win is they were good, but they did not keep any manner. For example, when it was before final game, they threw the ball with 140km/h right to the Korean player, and influenced the defense play, which almost caused injury, I think these are why all Koreans say they are not feeling anything about the loosing game, but mad at what, and how they have played for a long time. Korean in final, they went to over time, it was 3:3, but, Ichiro, one of best hitters, hit the RBI, so they made 5:3. I hope in next WBC, Korea defeat Japan, and win the championship.

Before this victory, Sharks had many players with injury. For examples, Evgeni Nabokov, the goaltender of Sharks has lower body injury. However, after their come back, the Sharks have shutout Anaheim Ducks, won over Colorado Avalanche, Dallas Stars, and Nashville Predators. So this article is showing that, the unlucky injury of Nabokov has influenced the Sharks, but after his comeback, he helped Sharks to be first in the conference and the league. I think that because Nabokov has returned, Sharks will keep their first lead till the play offs, no one knows what is going to happen in play offs, as a Sharks’ fan, I hope that Sharks will the Stanley Cup and for this happen, all the great teams should lose like the Devils, Capitals, Bruins, Canadiens, Red Wings, or Penguins. As reports from yesterday's canvasses continue to come, news outlets across the country have been taking not of what was accomplished yesterday, and the significance it could hold for the future. From the front page of today's Washington Post:

Before Obama became a president, it was George Bush, he was one of president card about war, especially, at this time, the war again Iraq, was important, if John McCain became the president, USA might have the worst period for their economic problems, but because Obama became president, he is really trying to change the country just like the article that is above because it is also saying that after Obama became the president, it is changing, it is amazing how he changes, choose to spend on money, these are great choices. It could have been dangerous, but to be fixed you got to step up even though it is dangerous. In my opinion, this article is basically saying that Obama is changing, he spends the money, and here comes the results, it only has been a few month, but still, this is great how he fixes the country, the groups of people and the a few great people say he is changing, too. In my opinion, Obama has mutability to change the country because, first of all behind him, there are lots of people who can help because he is democratic, trying to rule as country governed by people. Also the US citizens like them, I mean they also want to help Obama if they can, and they are, they really like to help because he is changing the country, he showed the results, and people believe that he can change, too. No one can say anything, if peoples like the presidents, and the government under Obama likes him because that is big amount of power unless he turns into evil. It is phenomenal, and amazing how he changes US, it really affects Canada too, because two countries always help each other, and these two are very friendly. If I was Obama I would never be able to change the world, but Obama can, I and everyone believes him that he is going to change.

Topic: grades (marks) encourage students to learn. Do you agree with this following statement?
All the students’ think that their grades are very important, so I do agree that grade encourage students to learn, even though it causes problem sometimes, but mostly it encourages because grades show that students can do, and it makes you to keep trying. However there are some problems, which will not encourage students to learn.
Whenever people see that they were doing better, they get more, better confidence because they feel that they can do it, especially, when students were not doing as good as in the past. In my experience, when I first came to Canada, I did not really do well because of my English, but I did better because of teachers’ comments, they told me not to disappoint myself, but keep trying hard. I think this is why grades encourage students to learn.
Mostly, if students get low marks, it doesn’t exactly encourage students, but it forces students to study to get out of low marks because it is very disappointing if I do bad on the test. So because people get low mark, they try harder to get study.
Sometimes it does not encourage because, it might remind that students are not smart enough to study his courses, it makes students to give up because of the marks if they felt that they have studied, but in my opinion, if you got low mark, you have not studied for the exam, or you do no know how to study, that was my case, but I do not think that students are not smart enough to study though.

Topic: playing a game is fun only when you win. Do you agree or disagree?
I disagree that playing a game is fun only when you win because there is no way that you can always win the game, game was made because it makes you to enjoy, when you play game, there shouldn’t be any anger with playing.
You shouldn’t play game if you don’t feel any fun. You can get angry if you lose every time, but that is not a point of playing game, no matter you lose or win, you should enjoy, that is the most important thing. There are lots of time that you can play game in your life, so when you lose, you just got to try hard, just like studying something. If you failed, you try hard, then finally you will achieve what you want.
You have more fun when you win, and it is still fun when you lose the game because you were enjoying the game while you was playing. If you lose you will feel bad, but you will be able to win, when you keep playing the game. In my experience, whenever I felt bad because I kept loosing, I changed the way that I play, if I lost the game, I changed the level that I was playing, then won the game because it still make you feel good.
I think that I am going to say when you win the game, you will feel better, but you feel kind of sad when you lose, I don’t think that many people can notice this, but the meaning of keep trying is you are enjoying, and being aggressive. So you are having fun, but only result was bad.

People who earn a lot of money are successful, but not only rich people are successful. In my opinion, success means differently in many ways, rich people have achieved in their process of working. Even though you are not rich, you live happily with your family, you have fun, which is another way that has achieved, and are successful, too.
The reason why I said people who are rich are successful in their process of working is that no one knows how he or she lives, are they just successful in their working, they might not be successful with relationship between family, or friends, money became important, but money is one result that shows you are successful, it is part of you success, so even if you have lost of money, if you have no where to spend the money, then you are not successful enough, even if you earn lots of money.

Students who care about art and music want these subjects to be required in the secondary school, but in my experience, many students don’t really care about art and music, so I disagree that all students should be required to study art and music in secondary school.
In my experience, many people don’t care that much about art and music, even though they like these subjects. They don’t care because they think that art and music are not going to help them to go to university or career, and they don’t enjoy these that much. Art is very hard unless you are so talented because unless you are really good, you get low mark, even though you are one of hard working students.
